Dr. Jay Son

General Dentist

Dr. Son has lived in several countries, including Korea, Japan and Canada. He is fluent in Korean, Japanese and English. He appreciates the multiculturalism in Canada, which influenced his decision to settle in British Columbia. Dr. Son originally studied oncology radiation therapy; however, he was fascinated by the diverse dynamics of dentistry and changed his career path. He received his doctorate of dental medicine from Case Western Reserve University, in Ohio.

Dr. Son believes in educating patients and in thorough follow-ups to promote optimum dental health. Dr. Son enjoys cosmetic dentistry, pediatric care and performing regular dental health care treatments. He is certified in Invisalign, Cerec crown restoration and nitrous sedation. Dr. Son is a cellist and loves to cook. Since moving into the Lower Mainland, he enjoys taking part in outdoor activities such as, hiking, biking and canoeing.
