Biography
Dr. Son is born and raised in multiple cities including Seoul, South Korea, Nagoya, Japan and Toronto, Canada. After immigrating to Canada at the age of 16 with his family. Dr. Son completed a degree in Human Biology at the University of Toronto before pursuing dentistry at Case Western Reserve University.
Together with Dr. Hira, Dr. Son created a dental clinic with the idea of bringing together innovative techniques and state-of-the-art technology. As a general dentist, Dr. Son has great passion in providing comfortable and aesthetic care to patients.
Understanding that patients have different goals in their oral health, Dr. Son strives to bridge preventive care with cosmetic dentistry whenever possible.
He believes that having a smile that you are confident in can bring the most positive impact on a patient’s overall lifestyle. Dr. Son’s professional goal as a dentist is to provide dental care in a very friendly, comfortable and relaxing environment. In addition to providing dental care in preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry,
Dr. Son truly enjoys the surgical aspects of dentistry. He is a renown instructor for implant dentistry and has mentored many local and international dentists in the diagnosis & treatment planning of dental implants. Dr. son has also done volunteer work on many humanitarian trips including Ukraine, Russia, Mexico and Columbia.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Son has great interests in playing Cello, cooking multicultural dishes, & CrossFit exercises.
